Guild Storage
Hey guys, try to find an answer to that question for a while now, in the forums, but cant get anything. And yes i tried the search feature!
Is there any guild storage that guild members can share? If so, how do you get it? The only thing we have right now in our guild hall is the regular storage that you get in any outpost. Any way to change that? The guild lord doesnt seem to have anything like that, last I checked anyways. Thanks! |

There is supposed to be a Vault Keeper that would act as guild storage. I have no idea when this will happen. I found reference to it in this gamespot interview.
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/guild...8088&page=2&q= Gaile please give us a date for it |

Yea, our guild had to make our own guild storage with generous members using their empty slots for storage mules. A guild treasure facility would be nice too ( with a tithe option so all members automatically donate at the end of every week).
They told us we would get this (the guild storage at any rate). I also heard they were to give us casinos too. Where the hell are they ? I want to lose all my plat playing Canthan Blackjack. |

Guild Storage is coming, but I guarantee that Gaile CANNOT give a date. As for bad members, if it's a problem, remove them from the guild.

The problem with bad Guild members is that you generally do not know that they are bad until they have looted all of the good stuff that is in the storage and then left. I can pretty much guarantee that within a week of Guild storage being rolled out that there will be multiple threads here complaining about how such and such guild got looted.

Then that would be a problem with letting just anyone in your guild. I love the spammers in towns looking for guild members.

Well, I'm sure not just anyone in the guild can put something into Guild storage, that wouldn't make a lot of sense. There has to be some type of restrictions that can be placed, like a certain "guild storage officer" or only officers or something like that.

Maybe an officer can be promoted to treasurer and see who takes things in and out. Assuming Anet will provide a log of Vault Usage. The guild can also set up a time line when they have to repalce the item with something of equal value in the storage. If the members do not comply simply kick them from the guild After a warning of course.

Easy solution.
Guildie A donates something to storage. Guildie B wants it. He goes to get it and a message goes out to Guildie A. Guildie A accepts. Have a nice life Guildie B. |

with the inception of titles... the person who stole from a guild would get the title 'guild robber' (1-5). At level 1 it would cost 10k to invite into a guild, 2, 20k... at level 5 they are no longer elligible to join a guild

A more practical solution would be to control who has access to the storage. Have it so that initially only the guild leader can access it, and have the option to allow officers, and/or other members access to it if so desired. That way everything has to go through someone presumably more responsible or trustworthy before it gets put in the storage or taken out. Or you could just turn it into one big grab bag if you like.
